How to Kill ?

How to Kill ?

How To Kill ?

"So, you're gonna kill me." Sophia said. "Of course" James replied. "With what? Butcher knife?" Sophia asked. "No...something organic..." James said and left the room, leaving Sophia hanging upside down, from the ceiling. She was in her white, sleeveless shirt. She knew that that white would fade away from her. Also her breath. She didn't know why she was there. Who James was and why he wants to kill her. She was in perturbation…Hanging from the top was tough for her but she had no other way. No way home. The way James looked at her...was breath-taking. What did he just say? Organic... Sophia tried all the ways to escape but the fact hit her that they were in midst of a forest. Dense forest. Maybe, that's what James would have meant. "Gone to eat?" Sophia yelled sarcastically. No response. "Goddamn.." After a few minutes, James entered with a bucket. "Food to eat?" Sophia asked. "Even...in your last moments, you make fun. So bad.." James said under his breath as he placed the bucket closer to Sophia and stared at her. "Your face...that's the first spot" James said. "What do you mean?" Sophia shuddered. From the bucket, James took an insect which resembled a spider to Sophia, and placed it on her chest. "What's … it?" Sophia's voice cracked. "Hmm..hmm... funnel web spider." he said and turned his back at her, "when I return, I should close my eyes...as your face will be..." James said and left the place. "Hey! " Sophia began to shout but, her predator, the so-called Funnel Web spider, gazed at her eyes. She did the same. They both stared at each other as if they were about to kiss each other. And then, the spider kissed on her lips. Not kissed, stung her hard. She felt the venom flow through her veins. Venom...oh no. Instantly, the pain grew and she couldn't bear it. She felt tingling around her mouth, her tongue began to twitch and most importantly, she shook her head in pain. That was a mistake. The spider took it as an offense and inserted its fangs deep into Sophia's cheeks and what, Sophia's face began to swell up and the venom would make her breathless soon. But, will her death arrive so soon? Nah, James returned. "You look beautiful, Sophia" James commented. Sophia went speechless. James was visible to her, partially and she couldn't open her mouth to speak out. Tears rolled from her eyes, and her eyes begged him to leave her. But, will James obey? "Oh, sweet heart" he didn't say it to Sophia. He said it to the spider and picked it up from Sophia's face and dropped it back into the bucket. "You've got ten minutes to survive. But, that's lengthy, sweetie." This time he said it to Sophia. Sophia didn't respond. Blood fell on the floor from her lips and she went pale. She was just breathing... "And, here comes my favorite," James said as he inserted his hand inside the can and took out a syringe filled with green fluid. "Syringe filled with Di-methyl mercury, babe. You know what happens when you inject it?" James demanded. Sophia just shook her head, reluctantly. "Come on, Sophia, I got bored. Say something!" James urged. Sophia couldn't speak. "Alright, lemme inject it." James said and went closer to her neck. He smiled at her and her swollen eyes pleaded him to leave. James gave an evil smile and injected it into her neck. He counted ten seconds with his hands. In no time, Sophia's skin lost its color. She yelled hard but yeah no one can save her. Di methyl mercury is considered to be a severe neurotoxin which causes death in an instant. James came closer to Sophia, gazing at her with eyes full of happiness and he went closer to her ears, "Hi baby, you hearing me? Yeah, you will, for a while. What did you say? Gonna kill you with a butcher knife?" James waited for a few seconds, nodding his head, "Hmm..it sounds like its your last wish." He said as he took a butcher knife from his back and brought it closer to Sophia's neck. "Now, speak lady. "Gone to eat?" Ask me again!" James snickered. "See ya!" he said as he severed Sophia's neck and her head flew away.

"All the Difference in The World' An English Story in Short

"All the Difference in The World' An English Story in Short Every Sunday morning I take a light jog around a park near my home. There’s a lake located in one corner of the park. Each time I jog by th is lake, I see the same elderly woman sitting at the water’s edge with a small metal cage sitting beside her. This past Sunday my curiosity got the best of me, so I stopped jogging and walked over to her. As I got closer, I realized that the metal cage was in fact a small trap. There were three turtles, unharmed, slowly walking around the base of the trap. She had a fourth turtle in her lap that she was carefully scrubbing with a spongy brush. “Hello,” I said. “I see you here every Sunday morning. If you don’t mind my nosiness, I’d love to know what you’re doing with these turtles.” She smiled. “I’m cleaning off their shells,” she replied. “Anything on a turtle’s shell, like algae or scum, reduces the turtle’s ability to absorb heat and impedes its ability to swim. SHORT STORY : THE RUBICON

SHORT STORY : THE RUBICON Short stories  I was a cold, vaporous dawn, the glass rising, and the wind fallen to a light air still from the north-east. Our creased and sodden sails scarcely answered to it as we crept across the oily swell to Langeoog. 'Fogs and calms,' Davies prophesied. The Blitz was astir when we passed her, and soon after steamed out to sea. Once over the bar, she turned westward and was lost to view in the haze. I should be sorry to have to explain how we found that tiny anchor-buoy, on the expressionless waste of grey. I only know that I hove the lead incessantly while Davies conned, till at last he was grabbing overside with the boat-hook, and there was the buoy on deck. The cable was soon following it, and finally the rusty monster himself, more loathsome than usual, after his long sojourn in the slime. 'That's all right,' said Davies. 'Now we can go anywhere.' 'Well, it's Norderney, isn't it? We've settled that.' &#

"A BIRD IN A CAGE" An English Story in Short

"A BIRD IN A CAGE" An English Story in Short learning English by story One day, when I was a young bird, my life completely changed. I do not know how long ago it was, but I still remember flying through the sky looking down at the green forest below.  All of a sudden, while I was looking for food, everything went black.  I crashed into something soft and was unable to move. I struggled to get loose, but I was not able to get free. I was put into a box. The walls were very hard, and I did not have much room to move. I hit the walls with my wings and yelled for help. After a while, since no one came to help me, I just gave up.  Inside the box, I found some water and food to eat. I do not know how long I was in the box.  Suddenly, the box opened and a bright light blinded me. I dropped to the ground. I felt the warmth of the sun on my back. It took a minute for my eyes to adjust to the light. When I was able to see, I looked around. I was FREE!  I stretched my wings and waved t
